Interesting Facts Inside the Numbers
• Cash was king. Nearly half the buyers paid cash for their property. Of those that financed, the median loan-to-value was 60%.
• Foreign buyers flowed in. International buyers, particularly those from China, are having more impact on the local real estate market.
• Buyers favored waterfront homes. Increased demand and a scarcity of supply saw the price for waterfront properties set record highs.
