Over the next several days, we’ll be highlighting the organizations each Windermere Real Estate office on the Eastside will be partnering with on Friday, June 3 for Community Service Day.
In just two short weeks, Windermere Redmond will be volunteering their day with YWCA Family Village in Redmond. The Family Village is a safe and beautiful building located in downtown Redmond with 20 units of transitional housing for families who have experienced homelessness. They offer an early learning center as an affordable, high-quality child care program for the community and residents. Other invaluable services include providing low-income or homeless women with work-appropriate clothing for interviews or a new job, transitional housing, as well as job search, training, and placement services for eligible food stamp recipients.
Windermere Redmond brokers will be spending the day outside helping with general cleanup for the Family Village. Tasks include planting flowers, painting stripes in the parking lot, power washing the porches, labeling supplies, and more. They’ll also be organizing donations that have been delivered.
